The research defines the influence of augmented reality (AR), in which the real and virtual worlds collide using specialist gear or smartphone apps, on museum design. Museums and galleries can overlay digital content on physical exhibitions using augmented reality technology. It is a stunning combination of technology and art that transports viewers to magical worlds. Consequently, a completely story-driven design experience for museum interior design can be established with augmented reality technologies. It can also create engaging narratives for visitors and depict a wide range of subjects with captivating visuals. The research is based on a descriptive-analytical approach and how museums can be entertaining and appealing to visitors. The research problem is that nations and peoples have a tremendous cultural and historical heritage that needs creative ways to be displayed, and augmented reality technology can design museum stories into a new space. The main goals of the research include interest, curiosity, engagement, and narrative using augmented reality technology. Storytelling, engagement, and digital interactivity are crucial components of museum design. The impact of augmented reality technology in transforming visitors' experiences in museums into thrilling, imaginative, and full of adventures is also studied, as is interior design for augmented reality depictions of narratives in museums, as well as the audience's interaction with museum stories, content selection strategies, and working with the capabilities of digital technology and context.
